Programme: Poverty Reduction Support Grant

The 2008/09 African Development Fund programme POVERTY REDUCTION SUPPORT GRANT I (PRSG I) aims to contribute to economic growth and poverty reduction through improved economic governance.
Its operational policy objective is to improve public financial management accountability and transparency by supporting reforms of the budget, audit and public procurement functions. It has
the following expected outcomes: (i) improved budget process, (ii) enhanced external audit and scrutiny in the use of public resources, and (iii) improved public procurement capacity.
